| Our Philosophy |
|
The Roaming Schoolhouse is a teaching and educational stimulation service, in
English, for English-speaking children. It operates as a "mobile school"
and depending on demand, the teachers will teach the lessons in a location
conveniently accessible to the members of that area. The lessons will take place
in different areas of Paris and the surrounding suburbs on different days of the week

| Our objectives are: |

To provide educational stimulation in English, to English-speaking children
who currently follow the French system. |

To provide a Literacy Program for the children in CE1 upwards,
which will cover reading, comprehension and writing skills.
The program is based on the current English and Irish National
curriculum.

To introduce the children to Anglophone culture, through music, story,
poetry and literature. |

To provide an added source of English outside of the home in a
more structured setting. |
 |
To offer a service suitable for children who are growing up in a
family where English is one of their main and regularly used languages. |

To offer classes run entirely in English by qualified teachers
who are native English speakers, where the children will be expected
to speak only English during classes |
 |
To produce a structured curriculum appropriate to each
group for that school year. |
